One essay questions seem rather dry; is it supposed to be creative? The topics is: How have you taken advantage of educational opportunities? As for the others, the experience, contribution or personal quality, and the , what kinds of stuff are they actually looking for? thanku

On my essay, I wrote about the types of classes I took, participation in class, etc. It was harder to be creative on this one. I made the last question (which was something like "Personal experiences" or something) creative.

The first one is supposed to demonstrate a passion for education. Don't just say, "I took AP Calculus and got a 5 on the exam." Emphasize that you took the hardest classes available, that you pursued your interests outside of the classroom and explored individually subjects you found interesting. Show that you love to learn.
For the second one, emphasize something creative you've pursued not relating to academia. If you play an instrument or a sport, or even if you just have a passion for the arts, for example, write about it.
For the third one, write about whatever you want. This is the creative one. It can blend with the second, however, so be careful not to write about the same thing. If you've got two great interests, emphasize the greater in the third essay and elaborate, and write about your #2 in the second essay.
Anyway, that's how I approached the three.

could a personal experience work for the third one? the topic is "Is there anything you would like us to know about you or your academic record that you have not had the opportunity to describe elsewhere in this application?

That's exactly what I wrote for the third one. I talked about personal issues that had slowed down my learning, but helped me mature and grow in a way that textbooka never could.
