where do we find out the books that we need for our classes? also has anyone recieved the move in day pass in the mail?

you can go to infobears, then click on current schedule, and finally "purchase books"

so does anyone know the deal about books then..do we just wait till welcome week and go scrounge around for the books we need?

Go there and then click "Main Campus" (I finally figured out that the Fall Extension thing doesn't even work). Then select your course and anything with "F____" (ex. FMATH, FENGL) is for Fall Extension Freshmen. You'll also need to make sure you know what section your class is (It's the number after 9. Like 902 would be section 02).

uh oh...i didn't receive mine...i thought none of the extensio npeople got it yet cuz 2 of my extension friends said they didn't receive it yet neihter

finally i got the books..i got worried cuz one of my classes wasnt eve on it but i called and they said some classes give readers and the teacher will tell u where to get them

do u have to get books now? i heard that there's a day where students sell off their used books to each other in sproul plaza during welcome week. also, does Ethnic Studies have a required book list? i don't it on that website (thanks for that link by the way).

ethnic studies has a reader that the teacher will tell us to get..i thin its is around 110 dollars.

i wonder if it's better to wait until classes start to get books...? maybe the professors will have suggestions for which books we need first or are most necesssary.
