Here are my stats. They have changed a little since my last post and I want to know my current chances.

try getting your score up to a 1400. georgetown is a reach for everyone. even a 1600 wont guarantee acceptance. they are looking for well rounded people with good ECs aimed at a common interest.

Really? That's great.

Thanks for the advice. (I'm not the OP, but I'd like to thank you for contributing nonetheless. It's inspiring to have GU students come and inspire the next crop of leaders for the future. ;-))

what the hell?

That was highly unwarranted. I was being sincere and honest with what I said.

I only said it because I have a nice amount of extracurriculars focused on one particular interest: Int'l Politics/Law. So I thought your comment was great.

I got an 1150 and I'll be a GU freshman. My other stats were good, but you can't base everything on your stats. You never know - it's always worth applying. I had the minority thing going for me, though. Stupid affirmative action. My advice to you: interview and essays - ace them. ;) Portray yourself as a person who isn't trying to get in with a family name or family money; be yourself and be genuine. The alumni that conduct interviews are usually really down to earth and just want to know about you. Good luck and keep us updated!
