I guess this is for the current students or those who know. The Potomac Mills Mall is about 30 mins away from DC, in Virginia. It's in Woodbridge, VA. Does anyone know how to get there from Gtown? I guess using the shuttle to Rossyln and then something else.... Any help would be great.

I don't think there is a metro that goes down in that direction which is 95 South. Not sure if there is a bus there either. I hope someone can help you out. Sorry I can't.

that's ok thanks. I was on the Gtown Life or something site, and it said there's a metro shuttle or something that goes to the mall from Rosslyn on Saturdays. However, I think the shuttle from Gtown doesn't go to Rosslyn on Saturdays, lol, at least when I was there in the summer. Can anyone confirm or help?

Potomac Mills Mall is just a mall half an hour away in Virginia. There's a mall a 5-7 minute walk from campus, the Shops at Georgetown Park, but this one is larger.

There are better malls than Potomac Mills - Tyson's Corner and then Pentagon City (which is the closest to GU). Potomac Mills is down I-95 which is a nightmare - bumper to bumper 24/7 bc it is the only route south that tourists take to Florida.
Pentagon City mall is probably a short distance from the Pentagon Metro station.

Theres also Mazza Gallery which is a small mall (with a very nice movie theater which has the best prices in town provided you have a student ID) located on the border of D.C. and Maryland, literally ontop of the Friendship Heights Metro Station, and there is also Montgomery Mall which is probably also another half hour from G-town, but you can take side roads to get there and not get caught in beltway traffic. MM is a pretty big mall, not as big as PMM but probably just as useful. My favorite thing about PMM is that they have the Vans Skatepark (if anyone out there likes that kind of thing...)
