Hi everyone- I'm sort of panicking right now. I always thought I wanted to go to the SFS but now I'm not so sure. My interests lie in politics and law- my goal is to become a civil rights attorney and eventually, become involved in politics (although not public office of any kind). International relations interest me too. I know the College has a Government major and the SFS has an International Politics major and a Culture and Politics major that interest me as well. What should I do? I already sent in my initial form with the SFS marked- that can be changed, can't it? Thanks for any help

it sounds like you'd be a better fit towards SFS.

Any particular reason why you think so? I was leaning that way for a long time and suddenly, just today, I started to second guess myself. Thanks!

Can anyone comment on this? Please?

Bump. Please, anyone? You all must have made this decision at one point or another... can't anyone try to help me out a bit?
Thanks and sorry for being annoying.

I would have to say that your interests would be more fulfilled at SFS, since you can take all of those law and government programs that interest you, but you can also take many specialized courses that seem to suit your interests, too. Also, if those two majors interests you (international politics and culture and politics), and they are only as majors offered through SFS, then go to SFS. You want to major in something that interests you.

Thanks for the feedback, Calidan. I really appreciate it!

You have a great chance at either, to tell you the truth. I would shoot for the SFS, anyways, since it provides for a plethora of opportunities. Not that the College doesn't, but it doesn't hurt to apply to the SFS.
Of course, you'd be hurting my chances, with your awfully bright statistics. *cry* :P.
Just kidding.
