Did anyone submit "supplemental material" with the app? My S wrote a very technical research paper at the conclusion of his summer's work with a governmental research branch. Wondered if submitting this would be worthwhile to do.....I would think it could not hurt...Tx for any feedback.

My son's app had some supplemental material. I think they say somewhere that it's okay to send in extra, but be choosey and not too much.

I also wrote a technical research paper, (intel science talent search/siemens westinghouse competition entry). I sent one copy to admissions with my app, and one copy to a professor in a similar field who my interviewer's brother did research with. I also sent a cover letter to the professor asking him to send his comments to me (and if he desired, to admissions). I didn't recieve a letter back, but I do believe that the paper was what made me get the century scholars award. I would definitely recommend you send it.
