Do you apply to a specific school, or do they just figure out which one you want to go to from your projected major? Does anyone have stats on how many students apply to Medill and admission rates, etc? Thanks.

You must apply to a specific school on the application.

For example, I applied as Undecided for WCAS. (College of Arts & Sciences). Someone may apply as Undecided for McCormick or Undecided for Communication.

Although you apply to separate schools, admission standards are basically uniform across all schools. The most specialized school, from an admission point of view, is engineering, which pays special attention to math/science scores and ability.
