Are there many California undergrads at WU? Also, I've heard that a lot of the undergrads are "dorky" and the social culture reflects that. Any comments? Thanks.

What is your definition of "dorky"?

Quirky, not terribly social adept, very much into academics.

I would say you are very misinformed. They are very much into academics but this does not preclude them from being socially adept. In fact I have found the kids I've met to be very bright, informed and socially active. I would add that they have a good balance of seriousness about their studies and a desire to have fun.
