Does anyone happen to know if Stanford has JV sports teams? I couldn't find any info on the website. I would like to keep swimming in college, but I know that if I ended up going to Stanford, there's no way I'd make the swim team, since, well, they're HELLA good. Anyone happen to know?

I don't think they have JV teams, per se, but you could look into club.intramural sports. To my knowledge, swimming doesn't exist at Stanford as either an IM or club sport, but if triathlon appeals to you, that may be an option. They also offer a swim conditioning PE class, which may be the caliber of a workout you could manage.

Stanford has master swimming. I think they meet pretty often like 3 or 4 days a week. When I was there, I saw them lap-swimming around lunch time. They may have practice in the early evening also. You'll have to find out. I think the people in the club don't necessarily belong to Stanford community. They can be people living/working nearby.

Yes, there is a Stanford master's swimming program and I believe that it tends to be on the young side. It is open to anyone. I used to swim with them occasionally and the coach was also involved with the varsity teams as an assistant. It is purely on an as-often-as-you-want basis; they do go to master's meets but it is just on a voluntary basis. I don't know who is coaching it now. They also have early morning workouts I believe.
I am not aware of JV teams. There are club sports but not swimming.
