Hey, I'm going to be a senior this coming year and a little curious to hear some feedback of my acceptance chances with NYU stern. I also attend the most competitive school in Hawaii, which should help since Hawaii is one of the more under represented states. Anyways, here are my stats so far:

Cumulative GPA: 3.65
Junior Year GPA: 3.9
SAT I: 1420
SAT II: 670(Chem),780(math IIC),780(physics),750(writing),780(U.S History)

Junior year curriculum:
-Japanese IV
-Advanced Pre-Calculus(not honors, but still ahead)
-AP U.S History
-AP Physics B
-AP English Language and Composition
-Money Management (sem. only)
*I've also completed an introductory economic course at UCLA which is equivalent to an AP econ class.

E.C's:
-J.V Cross Country
-Speech Debate (State finalist)
-Class Secretary
-School Newspaper
-120 hours community service (majority from Shriner's Hospital volunteer program)
-Ayn Rand's "The fountainhead" Essay Semi-Finalist.

Senior Year Schedule (This Coming Year):
-AP Calculus AB
-AP European History
-AP Biology
-AP Statistics
-Senior English Honors

So that's pretty much it. I would really appreciate it if anyone would give me some feedback on what they feel is my chance of Stern's acceptance. Thanks A lot! My AIM sn is: tokyoballa808, in case anyone wants to IM me. Take it easy everyone!

I think you have a solid chance at Stern, heres a look at my stats, and i got in, but ultimately chose not to attend.

SAT: 740V, 660M
GPA: 96
SAT IIs: 760Writing, 750US, 680bio
ECs: MUN (won at Harvard, no officership), DECA (state winner + VP), JHU Med School intern, volunteering
Solid Essay (wasn't even about business)
Good Recs

Stern wants to see your business experience, but you don't have to be all business either, you can also express an interest in other things. I wrote an essay that was philosphically-based. I'm attending UChicago next year. Ask me if you questions about Stern though, Stern was my second choice, and i almost went there. Peace.
