I am considering ED to Williams this fall.... and
i just want to ask something....
I'm planning to go to a graduate school in the future....If i go to Williams as undergraduate....it will not harm me when I apply to graduate schools right?? am I going to be prepared well and learn well??
I think that graduate schools are more important than undergrad.
my parents think that i should do early somewhere else like ivy league school... and they said that they want to see where I get in and not get in......they just want to know how the colleges judge me...they want me to have more choices i think....
one other thing... my sister will attend williams this fall....and it's also a good idea for me and my sister to go to a same school so my parents only have to come to Williams to visit...i dunno......

You should go to Amherst. Then when you're parents visit either of you (on the big football weekend), they win either way!
You already know you'd get a great education at Williams (hey, your sister is going there.) Same at dozens of other places.
As to graduate schools, Williams is known for having great students. But whether you are among them or not is really up to you.

Williams provides an excellent educational experience that is probably on par with some top schools such as Harvard or Yale. And trust me, you have no reason to worry about grad school placement when it comes to Williams. It's got a great track record and a close-knit networking system.

Stephan's list was for professional schools, NOT graduate schools.

I believe that earlier this year the Wall Street Journal listed Williams in the top 5 or 6 in terms of placement into the "best" law, medical and business schools for graduate work. Many feel that the placement is so great not only because you receive a great education but because the professors at LACs really get to know you and they can write great recs.
