Ok heres the deal...

I'm going to be premed... so I'm (going to have to be) taking bio and chem again in college...

But I got AP Credits for bio and chem.. can I use those as elective requirements and take the honors courses or whatever for credit?

I'm not positive, but I have the suspicion honors chem and biology are going to erase your AP credit. You should consider jumping straight into organic chemistry... a lot of freshmen premeds do.

really? I thought chem was required for a grade for most med schools?

We were told that for Math, they allow you to take the next sequence. However, for Science classes if your major requires it you may have to take (they call it accelerated) those classes.

hmm, that's pretty weird... I have quite a few friends who took orgo as fish, and I thought surely some of them were premed. Obviously, I am not fit to speak on this topic so you should probably just ignore me :)

i hear a lot of schools don't accept AP for those 2 classes. cuz your knowledge of those courses may not be good enough for med school. from what I've read, it'd be better to take it from the college.
