Hello all,

just wondering what my cahnces of getting into Williams would be, first one of these things im doin so i guess i post my stats?

im on scholarship at a tough private prep school class of about 150 little northeast of philly in PA
no ranking but im fairly sure im in about top 5%
GPA: 3.951(distinguished honors every semester which is greater than 3.9)
bunch of recognitions for excellence in various classes/.subjects over the semesters

taking hardest course schedule possible with as many classes as possible
took ap euro sophomore year (4)
ap chem, calc ab, comp sci a, lit, and us history (5, 5, 5, 5, 4) this year
with 6 more APs next year
umm SAT 1560 with 800 math 760 verbal(retake?)
SAT II's(so far) writing 720, chem 750, history 630(...)

im a big runner, basically the top runner on our cross country and indoor/outdoor track teams with even better hopes for next years seasons, received lots of local recognition

so with all the classes and running i dont have much time for other extracurriculars (also hold a job during school which is about 15 hours a week), im in the band at school, play drums on my free time and i do mathletes at school(do fairly well) as well and thats pretty much it

im also part of my schools national honors society, spanish honors society and tri-m (music) honrs society

anything more that would help?

Your standardized test stats are basically the same as my S and he was accepted regular decision this Spring. His GPA was 4.5 weighted. Don't bother retaking the SAT with a 1560, you are fine...really. You should have a very successful college process. Keep up the good work.

Very promising stats!

Write a good essay, throw in some good recommendations, and you should be a competitive candidate.
