How were the U of M freshman orientation activities? What kind of things besides all the meetings and testing sessions was there to do? Did those of you who have gone already meet a lot of new people that you might be hooking up with in the fall?

Yes definitely, I met quite a few people that are in my dorm next year, and some even signed up for the same classes as me. Overall it was a good experience, though some of it was boring. Look at the thread about Orientation below.
