I was looking at the condensed list of courses that the School of Computer science sends in the mail and I didn't understand how the different sec/lec worked. For example under Modern Chemistry it says:
T= Tuesday
R=Thursday
Lec 1 MWF 10:30 - 11:20 DH2210(Bldg.) Karol(prof)
Sec A TR 6:30p - 7:20 DH2302 TBA
Sec B TR 7:30p - 8:20 DH2302 TBA
....
Lec 2 MWF 11:30 - 12:20 DH2210 Karol
Sec G TR 6:30p - 7:20 WEH8427 TBA
...
Do I sign up for a lecture and a section or do I just sign up for one? If I just sign up for one, what is the difference between the two and which one is better?
