I would LOVE to go to New York University!
-Just finished Junior year
-4.4 GPA weighted (3.9 unweighted)
-1300 SAT (660 Math, 640 Verbal) (Will retake twice)
-IB Diploma Candidate
-100+ hours community service
-Tang Soo Do (Martial arts) 6 hours a week for a year and a half by graduation.
-President of Library Club.
-Community Liason for Interact Club
-Mock Trial Pretrial Attorney for 3 years.
-Academic Decathlon alternate for Freshman and Junior year (but did just as much work as everybody else and had scores comparable to those of actual team members)
-(Other stuff that I will remember)

Problem 1: My family makes about $25,000 a year...I cannot afford to go to NYU, but I would really love to go there for pre-med.

Will I get money from NYU? What are my chances and how much do you think I will get every year?
Are there better colleges that are cheaper?

One of the main reasons I want to go to NYU is that I love the area!!!!!!!!

Are there any other colleges which I can go to that are still at my level but are cheaper (in New York City?)

PLEASE HELP!!
