i posted this in another part of the forum but i thought it would fit here as well
im planning on applying next fall as a transfer student to NYU Tisch from a public 4 year university in New Jersey. I have a college GPA of 3.65 over 25 credits that I have taken this year (I just finished freshman year) and im currently taking 6 more credits over the summer semester which I am also doing well in, so I should have 31 credits when I apply. I scored a 1250 on the SATs I slacked off in high school, but have really buckled down since I got to college. My dream is to become a director and I am very knowledgable about cameras and editing. This summer I plan on putting my efforts into producing a strong short film to send in with my application. also i think i can get a strong recommendation from my digital video teacher who has seen many of my works
so my question is with a 3.65 GPA and a good short film what are my chances of getting accepted?? thanks alot
also is there anything else I can do over the summer to improve my chances and strengthen my application?
