Anyone know when the official move-in day is? I keep getting conflicting dates from different sources. It's either August 13 or August 23.....

One of the dorms moves in earlier than the rest. They told me at CalSO but I forgot which one. The rest are the 23rd.

23rd is move in day for dorms. the first week is welcome week, so you can go nuts and do whatever you want until the 30th when classes begin.

i think unit 1 moves in 21 (or 22?), all the rest move in 23

there's an entire week in which u can move in, for every dorm.

august 17th-23rd.


classes start 24th or 23rd.

I believe that was the 2003-2004 schedule, PipetteWolf..... on my housing contract it said it started August 23rd.....so I'm guessing that's the day.

The official line I've heard is that move-in is suppose to be 21/22, Welcome Week starts on the 23rd with the New Student Convocation that day from 3-7pm and classes start on the 30th.

I called and asked about Foothill and they said the 22nd starting at 8 in the morning.

foothill is the 21st and everywhere else is the 22nd...they said so at CalSO

Maybe we all ought to call our respective dorms?

From what I have gathered:

Unit 1: August 21
Foothill August 22:
Clark Kerr: August 23


This seems to make sense, this staggered moving pattern, but who knows?

I am going to call Clark Kerr to find out for sure.

i don't know about you guys, but on my housing contract (for foothill) it stated that the whole thing only takes effect from august 23rd.
so i'm kinda guessing that's the date we, or at least i, can move in.

unit one moves in earlier because of the construction, they move in aug 21st, all other dorms on the 22nd

As Emo said - Unit 1 on the 21st - ALL OTHERS on the 22nd.
