I just finished my freshmen year at Emory. I attended a pretty liberal high school in the Northeast. I would say that Emory is definitely a liberal school. Furthermore, Atlanta is about as liberal as your going to find anywhere outside of California and possibly DC. However, Emory does lean towards the center more than many other colleges. It is much more conservative than NYU or Berkeley, but is much more liberal than Vanderbilt. Basically, your political views will be respresented on campus whether your a die hard liberal or love George W.
---Come visit Emory if you can, then you'll be able to experience the political climate for yourself
