Hey! I'm a Junior at a small, rigorous private school and would like your opinion on my chances for schools such as

Washington University

SAT I: 1400 (plan to retake and get in the mid to upper 1400's)
Have not yet taken SAT II's
GPA: 3.8 uw/ 4.2 w
commended for the Nat'l Merit Schol. Program
top 20% of class
by end of high school: 3 Honors, 4 AP's (took no Honors in Soph. yr b/c parents and school were worried about pushing me - I homeschooled from 2nd through 9th grade)
will have good recs, well-written essay

EC's:
Honor Member of the National Forensics League
(3rd in state in Prose/Poetry, 5th alternate for Nationals in Oratory, and Semifinalist at the Glenbrooks National Tournament in Chicago -- did well in other regional competitions)
Poetry editor for the school literary magazine
Creative Writing Club member
French National Honors Society
Gold Key Winner for the Scholastics Writing Awards
Contributor to the school newsletter
Varsity school swim team, Varsity Cross Country
French language immersion camps through Concordia College
Fiddling
Orchestra (off-and-on member of string quartet)
Chorus
School Play
Race for the Cure Volunteer, Humane Society

I enjoy forensics IMMENSELY and am probably going to emphasize this, as well as my love for writing in my essays

Question:
When reporting SAT scores to colleges, are they only sent your BEST two scores?

Any comments or suggestions on my academic or extracurricular qualifications, as well as on my college selection, would be greatly appreciated.

I would say at colleges like Wash U, you should be fairly competative, but Ivies may be a stretch. Also, collegeboard sends all your test scores, and the colleges say they look at the best ones. Good luck next year. :)

Thanks! Do any former applicants/accepted students have constructive advice to offer?
