I don't think theres really any college like Rice, but what other colleges would you describe as similar?

I don't know much about it but WUSTL is the one I think of.

Rice is similar to Princeton in its emphasis on undergraduate education, world class research in the sciences and engineering, and national reputation without law and medical schools. The residential college system mirrors Yale's. The undergraduate academic profile is similar to both, although Rice is much smaller. All I know about WUSTL is that it spends a lot of money on postage.

Look into Emory. Although it lacks the residential system and most of its students are premed/prelaw, it is my experience that Emory and Rice have similar "personalities." Also, Houston and Atlanta are equally wonderful cities. I'm applying to both, I love them both. I think it has something to do with southern appeal.

Well, I'm here at Rice now. Its awesome theres no place quite like it, I don't think. Rice is super cool.
