I just got my scores back and I got a 1410 I think i'm going to take them over again, but in case I don't do better, do you think that's a good enough score for NYU?

1410 is a good score but it will depend what else is in your app to tell whether you'd have a good chance for admission. The NYU adcoms usually say that your gpa and the difficulty of your curriculum are the MOST important things, followed by SAT's, rank, e/c's and recs. They look at everything. Chances are you'll do better in a second testing but I wouldn't worry about it. NYU takes your composite score anyway.

Well, which school at NYU are we talking about. A score that might be adequate for Steinhardt or Tisch who base the decision on a portfolio for some programs and committment to the field will have less stringent SAT requirements than a schools like the College of Arts and Sciences and the Stern School of Business.
Also, the location where you are applying from also matters and an early decision versus regular decision application also matters. It also goes without saying that being an underrepresented minority also helps.
