Discus: Individual Schools: Top Liberal Arts Colleges (LACs): Williams College: AP Scores= Credit/Placement or just placement?

Well, I know it's a bit close to the wire to be asking this considering that my AP exams start tomorrow, but I've been wondering if Williams counts AP scores for credit/placement or just
placement. I know in years past they've accepted scores for credit, but they've made some policy changes this year so I'd like to know what's up....the thing is, I'm not really going to try on the AP's that much as it is (damn senioritis), but if I can get credit, then I have some incentive to score well. If not, then I can pretty much blow them off (Williams doesn't count the stat test, I have to take a Spanish placement test regardless of my score, I can get as low as a 3 on the Calc BC test to place into Math 105, and English is the only one that would require effort as I need a 5 to place out of the 100 level courses). So anyway, I'd appreciate it if someone could answer the question, though I'll probably read the response AFTER I'm done with the exams, making this a moot point.

Try this page direct from Williams. It might answer your questions.

For members of the Class of 2007 or earlier, AP or IB credit (if in two or more subjects) may also be used for acceleration, i.e. completion of the degree in fewer than four years. ***Starting with the Class of 2008, this option will not be available***
