Okay! This would be really great and informative and EXTREMELY nice (aka brownie points) if some nice little ol berkeley students could answer some of these for us uninformed and unelightened-of-the-world-of-Cal incoming frosh (we're a scary bunch, i tell ya)

What are!...The Top Five (or any other number for that matter really...):
1. things you ***MUST*** do before graduating

1. pass your classes
2. kip's bar, the big C, memorial stadium
3. zete zoo, ato's gatsby party, zbt's monte carlo, pike's kamikaze, fast times at beta theta pi, and game day tailgate parties at the frats (esp. when stanford is in town)
4. top dog, blondie's
5. the family guy or simpsons decal course
7. jokuman (when he's not in jail) and pops (if hes still alive)

What is up with sake bombing and UC's. I swear everyone who is at a UC that I know keeps talking about their sake bombings.

Here are a few more.
-Go to the football games!!! This year's Big Game is going to be at Cal, and we are going to win! (I think freshmen get free season tickets now, so go!) Oh yeah, go to the Big Game bond fire too!
-Take DeCal classes. These are the classes organized and taught by Cal students. They are very interesting. You get to study cool things like "the philosophy of the simpsons".
-There are sooo many restaurants around here. Try them all!
-Sake bombing is fun. Period.
-While you are having fun, don't forget to keep up with school. Otherwise you will cry when finals come (literally).

Asian ghetto (also called "Yellow Ghetto") is GREAT. I used to eat there every other night back in freshman year. I still go there every once in a while. But once you're out of the dorms and into an apt, you have to go grocery shopping (Safeway all the down College Avenue) and cook for yourself. Or you can do what I do and just east cereal, sandwiches, and mac&cheese. ;-)
