Who's gonna be there? (I will) Tell a bit about yourself.

I'm from down South, chose Wash U over Tufts, UNC-CH, and Tulane, and am looking forward to coming! My intended majors are environmental studies and political science/economics, and I love frisbee and guitar. That's all for now, see you all in august!

Hey, I'm from Maryland (my school's only a few minutes from DC) and chose WashU over Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign, California @ LA, California @ Riverside, and Maryland @ College Park. I was at first almost certain I was going to be going to UMCP (in-state, got a good amount of money from them), but after visiting for Multicultural Celebration Weekend, I was so taken by the school that I knew I couldn't pass it up. Plus they did give me a decent amount of merit money despite me not applying for scholarships ($8K/yr).

I intend to do a double major in BME and Psychology, while taking pre-med curriculum. It's gonna be tough but hopefully I can handle it.

Love baseball (playing, and I root for Orioles, but will definitley be able to root for Cards), and I play piano.

Hey, I'm from Jersey (about 30 min outside NYC) and I chose Wash U over Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, Smith (STRIDE Scholar), and Carnegie Mellon (BHA Program).

I'm in the School of Art where I plan to study either painting or advertising design, but I also want to double major in journalism and minor in French. So I might transfer into Arts & Sciences or something...I dunno.

hobbies, sports, etc.: ice hockey, painting, photography, horseback riding, drawing political cartoons, soccer, chocolate , sleep, playing cards, long walks on the beach...no jk lol

my sn is muskameoba (dont ask....) so feel free to IM me---i won't bite

oh and me and this other girl who i met at art admit weekend are gonna start a picnic club at wash so make sure to join!

hey all! I'm from Madison, Wisconsin but my family is moving to Florida next year...I intend to do premed, probably majoring in PNP (psychology neuroscience philosophy)

I love to run, hang out with my friends, play tennis, listen to all types of music (not country sorry), sleep and all that good stuff. I also work at a day camp in the summer

Hey fellow '08-ers. I chose to go to Wash U over Smith (STRIDE), Wellesley, Bryn Mawr, Mt Holyoke, and GW. I got scholarships everywhere, but I LOVE WASH U. St. Louis is amazing...and the university is wonderful. I'm going to be in Arts and Sciences probably double majoring in American Culture Studies and Women's Studies with some legal studies in there. I hope to join one of the choral groups and participate in the Catholic groups. Wash U is amazing, and I'm very excited to be accepted with such stellar fellow future freshman.

i see youre a dean fan Tao---i'm guessing youre an easterner? it would be cool to see another easterner who picked wu over much better-known nw and jhu. lots of people here think i'm crazy. im actually the only one at my school to turn down nw and jhu. and the only one to accept wu....oh well--I liked wu better!

i'm from the west actually. regardless, most people here would pick jhu or nw over washu, sadly because of their better name recognition over washu. but whatever, i got over the prestige thing during one of those midnight meditations and decided to go where i felt 'right.' i hope there are more poepl who go to washu by choice than by default (ivy rejects). but whatever. i know 99perent of the kids i met there all love it. oh yea, Tobes, i'm the pickleball dude...i see it now: PPC, The Picnic n' Pickleball Club!

Yeah guys, the ivy reject stigma is awful. It's an amazing school in it's own right...not as a a safety from Harvard or Princeton. Personally, I had never heard of Wash U over here on Long Island until my dad got relocated to St. Louis on business. I visited the campus and fell in love with it. From the moment I visited and saw everything and talked to people, I knew it was the place for me. I can't wait to see you guys next year. It would be great to talk to you soon.

Hey eastcoasters!!! Welcome to Washy U, and the class of 2008. You are going to love the midwest!!! Bye the way, the kids from the midwest are way cool too!!!! Not mention the kids from the west, the kids from the south, and lets not forget all of the international kids that are moving thousand of miles from home to attend Wash U. It doesn't matter where you come from-you are all FANTASTIC kids in my book (you too eastcoasters)!!!!!!
