I'm stressing out about the Math Placement test. Basically, I got a 5 on AP Calc after I took it junior year. But somehow math goes to my short-term memory, and I can't even remember what I learned in Pre-Cal! From what I can figure out from the course catalog, in order to even start fulfilling any math/science credits I have to place into elementary functions and calculus. Since I want to major in Classics, I would really hate to waste time in remedial math. Can someone help me out? What do I need to know for the placement test?
By the way, I don't want to continue in calculus. I'd rather take something like Studies in Mathematics.
Thanks!

Heh, I only got a 4, and definitely have forgotten it all. I think I've regressed to pre-pre-Algebra.

Well, I found a sample math placement exam on the U Chicago web site (just do a search). I don't remember much at all. Looks like I'll spend part of the summer trying to relearn my math skills. Ugh!
