hello everyone!!

i'm currently a junior (male, filipino) hailing from the long island, NY area

grades (note: my school doesnt use the gpa system, but i did some converting and i think it averages out to a 3.8 unweighted for three years):
freshman - 93.4
sophomore - 93.4
junior - 92.6 (for now)
honor roll for 3 years, in top 20% of class (out of about 400)
havent taken sat's yet, but planning somewhere in the 1400's
710 bio satII, 660 world history satII (taking writing and maybe math in june)

also, my school doesnt offer any ap's or honor courses, but we all take 4 years of math (im in advanced, taking calc), science, history, religion/philosophy, english, and in my case, latin, 2 years of studio art, and a year of health and music history (taking ap bio and chem tests though) and are exempt from NY state regents tests because of the rediculous difficulty of our own finals (the only school that i know of that's been granted that)

EC's
-Speech and Debate Club (3 years, with plenty of local and some college tournament awards, attending nats for CFL this year...go duo interp! for anyone who does s&d...dont have officers, but help a lot of the new guys with their acting)
-school paper, Tarmac, 3 years (writer, photography editor, and hopefully assoicate editor for production by the end of this year, along with 2nd place in photography at the Newsday School Journalism Awards (beat out some local colleges))
-Emmaus (community service group) teaching young spanish kids english, twice a week for 2 hours for the past 3 years
-Latin Club (3 years), cum laude on the National ACLS Latin test freshman year
-first place biology project soph year, best in chem junior year
-National Honor Society
-school prayer service actor
-chess club, 3 years
-freshman "3C" orientation volunteer, 2 years
-library service 2 years (max amount for a junior)
-member of church youth group, 2 years
-about 100 hours of community service outside of school groups
-depending on my applications, may work at brookhaven national lab for the summer and cold spring harbor lab in a research fellowship

im really, REALLY committed to all of these EC's and i commute about 30 miles roundtrip to school everyday with perfect attendence

so what are my chances of getting into NYU CAS on ED? (thats a lot of abbreviations!!)

thanks in advance!

perfect attendence is an eye catcher to be honest. i think you have good odds. I'd be suprised if you didnt gtet in. But hey admissions is partly random.
