I was just reading through the boards, and I've defintely seen this question asked like a hundred times, which I'm sure is not only repetitive but annoying as well.
So I'm a junior, and trying to figure out where I want to go. I think the top two schools that I'm interested in are NYU and Tufts. I'm not sure if I will want to apply ED to NYU (I especially would if i wouldn't have a good chance of getting in RD).
Anyways, if you could help out that would be great:
I haven't taken the SAT's yet but I'm going to guess I'll get 1300-1350ish.
I don't take any AP's (there are only like 3 at my school). And I'm only in one honors this year. I definitely think that this is my setback. But I do go to a school with a dual curiculum so I don't know if they look at that. And my GPA first semester this year was 3.92 but it is higher when they recalculate it. And overall my high school GPA will probably be like 3.88.
I've done close to 150 hours of community service and am in NHS, wrote for the newspaper (english and spanish) and literary magazine for either 2 or 3 years. I'm co-president of the environmental club which i've been in all 3 years and i co-founded and am VP of a community service type club. I'm also in NHS. I'm not really an athlete which I'm sure is fine for NYU.
Anyways, I guess that's it. Sorry this was super duper long.

Not having taken the most rigorous curriculum at your school will definitely not be a good thing on your app. Can you change that for next year and take the AP courses? You'll be at a real disadvantage if you don't.
