Hi! I'm an international student just PRAYING that I'll get off the waitlist for Duke...does anyone have any tips for me to improve my chances of getting in? Also...would you choose Columbia over Duke?

Personally, I would choose Duke over Columbia. They're too COMPLETELY different campuses. Columbia- New York, NY. Duke- Durham, NC. I haven't seen Columbia but Duke is a BEAUTIFUL, COLLEGE CAMPUS. Columbia, I would imagine, is more in the city. They're both outstanding schools. It just depends where you want to spend 4 years.
