Check out the posting by Cybernetica on the Rice thread about being kicked off campus due to lack of beds. He seemed to really like Owl Weekend and gives lots of info about Rice

I was at Owl Weekend as well and liked it a whole lot. I stayed at Sid college and the people there were great and I felt like they really wanted me to go. As for the living, it's different (or so I heard) around the different colleges. At Sid, Freshmen and Sophomore year dorms are pretty much guaranteed.

I thought owl weekend was quite kickass... the people were ridiculously nice and I loved them for it; heavy on the party/wet-campus side though... either way, the experience definitely will complicate my decision. What about you all?
