I'm looking to major in materials science/ biochem and math/mathematical physics. Deciding in both fields. If you are going to double major is it possible/ available to lab/original research in both fields? Thanks.

If you have a gazillion hours in your day, absolutely. For the average person who does actually sleep, it'd be rather hard. Also, it depends what kinds of UROPs you stumble upon.
