My son is a junior there - computer science major. It's a small school, good acdemically. Beautiful campus, not far from Hershey Park.

I recently went to visit it...loved the campus and the people were nice. Not number 1 on my list though. Great scholarships for academics too.

How far it it from major airports? Is there a good social life. My D is looking into it

Arizonamom - We were just near there. The closest airport would be in Harrisburg, about a half hour from Elizabethtown. We found connections from the west coast typically went through Cinncinati before Harrisburg.

Elizabethtown is absolutely awesome. It's my top choice for college right now, and I absolutely love it! They have an awesome English and science program, plus a lot of extracurriculars to take part in. On campus and off campus housing... They have an awesome cafeteria. We met some of the staff there, and they are very approachable people. Can't wait to go there, I totally recommend it!

The housing is one of the great parts of E-town. The dorms are quite nice, and there are so many other options after freshman year. My son was in Ober Hall 1st year, then a SDLC(student directed learning community which had a house across street from campus for them to live in), junior year lived in the on-campus apartments, and this year (senior!) lives in the quads which are actual townhouses by the athletic field. Two bedroomm and large bath upstairs, kitchen/living room on first floor. Fully furnished. Cafeteria food so good that he kept a small meal plan even after freshman year when he had his own kitchen. The professors are very involved with the students and even showed up on move in day to help out. Excellent choice Rugbyrocks!

Jjkitty, You definitely have a good chance to get in. SAT's are right in there with the median, class rank and GPA will get you in for sure! They have merit based aid - my son had higher SAT, but lower class rank and GPA than yours, and he got a very nice scholarship. If you could raise the SAT score a little, you could probably get around $8000 a year or more merit aid. Your summer internship experiences are awesome. If you are interested in neuroscience, you might want to check out Dickinson too. They have a new neuroscience major this year (my daughter is in it). Another great school, a little more selective than E-town I think, but not out of your range.
