ok.. ive been looking for info on northeastern and it been pretty lame...i just wanted to start a new discussion to see what anyone has to say.. i'm most likely going i only just need a lil extra umph to decide...

Well, I haven't even received my financial aid package yet. The package that I am getting from Boston College is really tempting. Although Northeastern is my top choice, my parents, nor do I, have the money to afford it, if I don't get enough.

I went for a visit on Saturday for the business welcome day. I am an international student from England. I was so impressed with the school. The campus is gorgeous as well as the buildings on the inside. It seems like a highly motivated school. Going to the visit has really made me want to go now.

Well, I just got my financial aid offer and let's just say..I'll be attending Boston College. I'm sending in the reply card next week. Have fun at Northeastern guys/gals.

Hey Excusememixed. How much did you get from BC and how much from NU? I would kill to go to BC, I'm currently on the waiting list. I might end up enrolling in Northeastern. What are your stats?

I got nearly $37,000 in aid. $30,000 was in scholarship. Northeastern only gave me a little over 15,000. Good luck on the waiting list!

Here are my stats:
3.9/4.0 GPA (I don't know if that's weighted or unweighted)
1150 SAT I
25 out of 221 Rank (that should go up by end of this year)
I take the most rigorous courseload. No APs available, but I do take college courses at the nearest technical college (Analytical Geometry & Calculus I, English 101 & 102, and Sociology 101)
ROTC (9-10)
National Honor Society (10)
Mu Alpha Theta (11-12)
Future Business Leaders of America (11-12)..I won some awards for Business Calculations and have been competing at State Level for 2 years in a row)
French Club (11-12)
Recently finished an internship at local newspaper, where I wrote articles on career choices and what teens can expect to accomplish in each field.

well, i just got in off the waiting list for northeastern...that was suprising. now i have to wait for financial aid
