Does anyone have anything to say about this place? Have things don't work out at the school I want to go to I may end there next fall. Its pretty close to home and I have a lot of friends there. I used to spend summers in Maryville so I kind've know the city.

I go to the Missouri Academy of Science, Mathematics, and Computing. This program is for high school juniors and seniors and we take classes at Northwest and live on campus. It's a pretty nice university, but as for academics, it depends on what you're majoring in. It's best for teaching degrees (they even have a lab school, for elementary kids). The computer science department sucks, on the other hand. Math and Science, okay, but not great. As soon as I graduate in May 2005 (with my high school diploma and Associates of Science degree), I'm getting OUT of Maryville as fast as I can. I'm used to big city life and Maryville drives me crazy. But it's not that bad, once you get used to it. It's a big party school, though (which I haven't experienced for myself, being an Academy kid), so if you're into that stuff, you'll have a good time.
