I heard from some of my friends that they were offered free flights and overnight stay from the 15th to the 17th, while some people haven't gotten that. I personally can't check since I don't have an account online set up yet, but what is this discreepency about.

Is it worth a 10 hour drive to attend?

I had just visited a few days ago (I was in the area for an unveiling...when the gravestone is unveiled a year after the funeral)...but I'll be there!

What group makes up the majority of people at Cal Day? Is it people who are debating between College X and Berkeley and want to see Berkeley to decide if it's the right school for them, or is it people who have finalized on Berkeley and want to have a first-hand view of the scene before the summer?

I'm just wondering if it's really worth going to if I've already decided that Berkeley is where I'm going. Is it?

I'm going to Cal Day because I have to make sure that I'm not gonna kill myself as a freshman there. I have also decided that I am going to Berkeley but I want to make sure that its the right decision before the May 1st deadline.

Well, I went anyway, and it was a fun trip. Bowles had free food in front of their dorm which was a great payoff for that huge hike uphill

Over all, I liked it. I can't wait.

Foothill had free food too and not to mention a HUGE HUGE HUGGGE hill to climb. But it was worth it because of the food, heh.

Well, the only reason I was considering Bowles at first was because I have the opportunity to have a singleroom which I'd really like. But I hear chances of getting those freshman year are slim, so I might after all just go somewhere else. Unit 3, most likely.

Still, all-guy/all-girl matters not to me. Meeting nice people (aka a nice woman) will happen everywhere. Apart from that, it's all just people...
