I am a perspective student looking at Stanford very seriously and as the letters have now received, I am wondering what people who got accepted had. Helpful info would be GPA, rank and EC's. Thank you all so much for those who respond and take the time to look.

My D's stats:

SAT:1560(800V), IIC:800, Wr:780, MolBio:750. 3.9UW, 4.7W, #2/715 at large mediocre suburban HS. Most rigorous curriculum; 9 APs. National Merit Scholar. ECs: Music -->bassoon, percussion, piano; leadership positions in the band; regional honors for the bassoon. Ran track for 3 years with no particular talent. Summer scientific research program at university. Essays: took her a lot of work but I thought they were pretty good in the end. Recs: Excellent - all her teachers love her.

Accepted into Stanford.

800 Math IIC, 800 Writing, 740 US History
GPA: 4.25 W, 4.0 UW
Rank: 3/520
8 AP's.
National Merit Finalist (so far, haven't heard)
EC's:
-Speech/debate team 3 years
-Golf team 4 years
-Newspaper news editor (2 years)
-Student government (2 years)
-Intern, state senator
-Couple summer programs in DC
-Econ class at local university

That's about it.

Essays were pretty good, one great rec and one ok rec.

Foreignboy did u ask for Fin Aid?? if u did u'll be the third asian international student (whom i've heard of) to get into Stanford with substantial Financial Aid!!

So congrats it is a great achievement??

and ... hmm how much did u ask for??
