I was just wondering what people would think of my chances for transferring to Tisch for next fall. I would be a sophomore.

Last year I applied to Tisch and there was a blizzard the day of my audition and there was no way I could attend it. I sent in a videotape as that was my only option and got waitlisted off of that, but did not get in off the waitlist.

I have been attending a community college this year, because the other school I started at this year did not work out.

I realize that my high school transcripts will be used, I had a 3.8 GPA, 29 ACT, and 770 SAT II Writing. I also had a lot of activities, including the lead in every theatre production at my high school and lots of professional workshops as well.

My main concern is what the transfer situation at Tisch is like, because I really have no idea how that works. I'm assuming there are fairly specific slots to fill in different studios, etc.

If anyone could give me any kind of imput...that would be totally wonderful and I'd love you forever, because right now I'm very nervous about the whole thing.
