My daughter has been accepted to CUA's musical theater program and wondered if current students/others had any feedback on their program. She is still waiting to hear from 3 other schools (Syracuse, Emerson and BU) We are from the DC area and CUA doesn't get mentioned much on this site for musical theater.

Hey Bostonian chick, my daughter got into Boston University's acting program and is thrilled because it's in such a cool city and it sounds like you are excited about coming to DC. I would love for her to stay close by (so we could see her in some shows) but right now she is leaninb to Boston. Where else are you considering?

Dcmom3, our daughter also was recently accepted to Catholic. She's interested in politics and international studies, so the D.C. location excites her. She also applied to American (accepted) and Goerge Washington (still waiting), as well as other schools not in D.C., including Boston U. I know the immediate area surrounding the campus is not that great, but the campus is beautiful and it seems to have very easy access to the rest of DC via the metro. We're located in New Jersey. Congratulations to your daughter!

my sister is going to boston unviersity, i'm not...when did she hear from american? i haven't heard yet and its my first choice so i REALLY hope i get in!!! i got a scholarship to catholic without even applying for one or filling out financial aid, what do u think my chances at american are? i have a 3.0 1180 very good at a sport best in the area for high school girls, 2 awesome recs from teachers, 1 from a senator and i have lots of really good ECs...

26 ACT 1210 SAT 4.4 GPA I have alot of volunteering.Relay for life, Soup kitchens, MRDD, Special Olympics etc. I dont know what else you want to know

I just got home. Today I went for the night on the town I did where you ate at union station and took the bus tour and made stops. I met so many nice people that we are keeping in contact through email. I was impressed with the president of the unversities speech and the other students. i also loved the school of biomedical engineering I have a medical implant in me for spasticity and they were going over that and thinking of new ideas. I applied early descision so i am definitely going there. Anyone else?
