I am going to Wash U. (I was accepted ED I) but when I visited the campus in the Fall, I did not see many good looking girls. Do any guys have opinions on the girls at Wash U?

Because I have no clear-cut favorite, such a factor could prove to be very significant in my choice of college.

I heard that all the good looking girls at WUSTL were complaining that when prospective students visited the school last fall there weren't any good looking guys.

if you're worried about good looking girls then Wash U may not be the place for you. Not because the kids aren't good looking but because I don't think that's a good priority for this particular school.

I recently attended one of the acapella concerts and was struck by how different the visiting group from University of Michigan looked. My son noticed it too- he thought they looked very young.

Wash U has an eclectic group of kids and I have seen some beautiful undergrad women and handsome young men. The thing that strikes me about Wash U students is that there aren't many fair haired kids and in general they look smart and serious!

well, st. louis is a big city, and if you're worried about finding a girl, you have a whole city to search for one.

I'll be there hopefully ;) LOL

LOL, lefty :)

Considering that almost no people consider the attractiveness of a college's students in their decision, I doubt you'd find much of a difference in looks. The student population is big. Attractiveness varies just as much. However, I think there's a college pamphlet book site that offers reviews by college students for like $12 (some expensive amount like that), and a lot of them comment on the overall prettiness.

So Lefty, are you one of those people that does nothing but study? Because I like to do stuff besides study, and perhaps actually hang out with some girls. So,IMHO, it is not unreasonable for me to assess the looks of girls, seeing as I may date one of them. Good call, I like your pic Goneinfivemin.

Me?? Nothing but study?? Surely you jest!! I am just a person who is sick and tired of posts on these boards wanting to know if there are any "hot girls" at a certain school or how "good looking" the girls are at such and such college. Every time I see a post such as yours I give a sarcastic smart-ass response.

Every college in the country including WUSTL has thousands of intelligent, wonderful co-eds. Some fit your idea of "good looking, others may have inner beauty that you fail to see.

It feels like self-confidence plays a factor in who posts these kinds of messages ;) After all, a good-looking, funny guy won't have a problem finding a good-looking girl, would he?

Lefty, Good humor-my husband laughed out loud at your first response.

The good news is that there are good looking girls, though there will be lots of arguments as to exactly who they are. The bad news is that none of them will like your attitude and so it won't matter anyway.

Haha Thedad that was good.
