i know there are a lot of posts on here like this...but i would truly appreciate any comments on my chances of acceptance at Wash U....i'm getting nervous

wash u is tied with tufts university as my no. 1 choice
once again, i apologize to and thank anyone who is patient enough to read and evaluate....i would really appreciate any comments or suggestions

probably pretty good. an interview with a parent of a student? that person was allowed to interview? weird.

I think you will be accepted. I wish your SAT's were a little higher. If they were 1500 I think you would be a sure thing.

1440 is around WUSTL's 75th percentile (or 25th percentile...however you look at it--on the better side). With an A average, I think the chances with that are good.

chen, about the interview...there's an association of alumni and parents of students that conducts interviews, seems pretty casual to me but it was official - i got an email from the school. i don't think it's a huge factor, just adds a little bit.
lefty....yeah i wish my SAT's were a little higher too lol....o well

1440 is not Wash U's 75th percentile. It's more like 1500.
Your profile looks good to me, especially your transcript. Your SAT's are good, not great, but remember that they are only one factor, albeit a big one.
1440 will not hurt you, but it won't get you in either.
