junior year i got the following grades (this is both first and second semester averaged):

ap chem: 88
ap english lang: 90
ap calc bc: 93
ap us history: 93
spanish III: 95

first semester senior year i got:
ap bio: 96
ap english lit: 96
chem research: 99
multivariable calc: 98
ap physics: 92
humanities: 94

something to note: i got a C first semester in ap chem junior year, and second semester i got a 90

does this help a little, if at all? im kind of nervous about getting in.

oh yeah and my grading scale:
A: 93-100
B: 86-92
C: 70-85
anything below 70 is failing

my grade first semester in chem was an 85

Well, it depends what and how much they see, but I think it'll help a lot for you. First semester senior grades are second most important to junior year grades for college admissions in general.

thanks chen. also, does anyone know if they make connections for classes? what i mean is, since my ap chem grade was rather low, but my chem research grade was rather high, do you think that would make up for it?
