MARKLEY!!!! YAAAY! It's ghetto but definetely the most fun. Also the food there is tolerable, and you're close to lots of fun stuff (gym, South U., frats) I lived there for 2 years and we always laughed about the "third-world" conditions of it, but we really loved it. =) If you're into the artsy thing, East Quad is cool too.. there's some interesing folks in that place lol.

South Quad has the reputation of being the party dorm. and you can't beat its location.

I was looking at the virtual tours of rooms in south quad. on the housing website. the single looks amazing. Do you have to arrange beds into bunk beds if you're living in a double? I have a thing against bunk beds... haha

No you don't have to. I think the furniture is rearrangeable in many diff ways.

How long do you think it will take for Central and Hill to fill up for freshman? I won't be making my decision for a while so i'm afraid i may end up in North if I go to U of M.

Another factor to consider at U of M is that if you pick your roommate you will most likely end up on North Campus. People going in blind will be first pref for Hill and Central. I LOVE HILL though!!

Oh, I should have explained that. I am going to be in the residential college and everyone in that lives together in East Quad. Sorry about the confusion.
