Haha damn

1. Rice sure admitted alot of people from this board... it'll be funny if ID's percent admitted was like 75%... but that won't happen

By Scetoaux (Scetoaux) on Saturday, February 14, 2004 - 01:33 pm: Edit

what do you think the percent admit will be abz? Like 30?

By Abz1986 (Abz1986) on Saturday, February 14, 2004 - 03:57 pm: Edit

Hmmm, it could be, I think it'll be around the same as last time.

Call em up Scetoaux and ask them :)

ED's is apparently 28% according to admissions officers...

I remember when decisions were coming out I compiled some of the statistics for this board and it did indeed come out that around 75 percent of those that applied ID on this board were accepted. CC had some phenomenal numbers in regards to admission at Rice.

Jwtullis- thanks for reply. If you are from out of state, maybe you will know the answer to this. When you arranged the offcampus interview, was there a list of places/interviewers to choose from? This info is not accessible from their web site apparently unless you have done part 1 of the application. Or, did they "assign" you to someone in your area? Thanx.

By Jwtullis (Jwtullis) on Friday, July 02, 2004 - 05:15 pm: Edit

Tabby: Yes, Rice's website had several different cities or areas within each state from which one could chose (presumably where the various alumni interviewers live). I'm in Alabama, and I chose a location in Birmingham because it is only an hour from where I live. Especially if you're in or near a larger city, you probably won't have to travel too far for an interview. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Jwtullis. This is actually for my S's info.
