Is there some sort of official University of Michigan online store where I can buy apparel and the like? I've been looking for a while, but am only coming up with websites that don't seem to be official.

Go to main page (umich.edu) and click on "Athletics and Recreation"... then "Athletics"... then "Merchandise" and you can figure out the rest from there. Make sure you specify size if you order, i didn't and had to exchange them. It usually takes about a week to deliver.
