How hard is it to get into CSU Long Beach? I am out-of-state and have a 3.1 GPA with a tough courseload. Hopefully will have good SAT/ACT scores.
Also, how is the school overall? Also, if you know anything about the film program there, that would be helpful. Thanks.

The eligibility index used by Cal State is as such;
SAT 1 Scores: (GPA* x 800) + SAT 1 = Your Index score
ACT Scores: (GPA* x 200) + (10 x ACT Composite)= Your Index score
*(All approved college prep "a-g" courses taken in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades)
California residents must have a minimun index of 2900 using SAT 1 scores or 694 using ACT scores.
Non-residents must have a minimun index of 3502 using SAT 1 scores or 842 using ACT scores.
For the complete eligibility index tables for CA resident and nonresident alike are available at
www.csumentor.edu.
