Discus: Individual Schools: Top Liberal Arts Colleges (LACs): Washington and Lee College: Campus

My father went to W&L for both undergrad and law, and my sister graduated from W&L with a major in religion last year.

Both absolutely LOVE the place. The campus is beautiful, and the small size provides an excellent opportunity to really get to know the profs. My sister was a dorm counselor for two years and enjoyed that as well (and the free room and board was a huge help with the cost!).

Needless to say my sister is pushing hard for my twin brother and I to go there, and we've both applied RD for the honors scholarship program. The only two things keeping W&L from my number one choice is that a) the two fields that I wish to pursue (comp sci and/or business) aren't very big programs at W&L, and b) the campus is 80% greek and there is quite a bit of drinking - something I'm not very interested in distracting me.

I live about three hours away from Lexington, but I feel like I've practically grown up at W&L and I really do love the campus, the town it's nestled in, and the people. I'd say defintely apply!
