Is IU located in the middle of nowhere or is the campus in a good college town? How hard is it to get into the business school? How hard is it to get a good GPA? Is it a fun place to live?
Thanks

It's not hard to get into...a.) there's no essays for the app...b.) they don't require SATs. c.) if you're out of state, you're technically in. I had a 1250 and a 3.4 GPA and I got in plus a 5 grand scholarship....they are rolling too which is good, i applied in early nov and found out mid december....big party school but ive heard amazing cmmunication/business schools

I dunno...I applied to University of Maryland, CP...I REALLY wanna go there, I find out from them next week...if not there, then Syracse is next in line...if I for some reason don't get in there, I also got into Bentley and Loyola...and I'm waiting on fairfield and BU...but if i dont get into maryland or cuse i doubt ill get into BU...so then its a tossup between bentley, fairfield, loyola and indiana....i dontlike indiana cuz its so far away (im in new york)...among other reasons, but I like it because its a big school (football, basketball etc)...so we shall see

Yeah I applied to Maryland as well, but between the two I would probably go with Indiana. Distance isnt an issue, since I live in South America.

The Kelly School of Business at Indiana University is one of the top 5 business schools in every category. Therefore, it is very difficult and admission is equally competitive.

Hi Zhou, i'm admitted as a transfer for this fall semester and Kelley is my aim too!! Would you mind telling me what you mean by shiny grades and outstanding performance? average grade kelley stuedents? Thanks ^^

Hi,Yumeka!I am an international student who has applied for IU-Bloomington.I applied for Kelley School of Business. In April I was informed that I had directly been admitted into Kelley.I had a 1400 combined SAT I with good essays, decent ECs,and activities of variety. They sent me the admission package in early April. In one of the brochures it said that any grade below B will severely affect your application for Kelley, which means one must have at least an A minus average in order to be considered for admission.Admission to Kelley is competitive since it is the top 10 business school in the nation.Good luck and hope this helps.

Zhou, thanks for your advice!
I'm an international student, too! Did you mean that you are currently outside the US? I'm joining IU this fall semester. Shall we contact with each other further by email, if you like?
you will see my email address if you click on my name. Cheers and good day^^

Yumeka,I am afraid to tell you that I planned to enroll elsewhere.I planned to enroll at Tulane University, for they give me a Distinguished Scholars Award which amounts to nearly $20000.I would like to join IU but my family insisted that I enroll at Tulane,so I had to obey and respect their choices.Anyway, hope you will enjoy your years beyond at Tulane.
