from other forum:
I take the IB diploma, here are my predicted grades (not the predicted grades that you send universities, just the ones that im most likely to get according to my teachers):
High's:
Economics: 6/7
History: 6/7
Physics: 4/5
Standards:
Math: 6/7
French: 5
English A1: 5
SATs: 670 Verbal + 790 Math= 1460
no SAT II's yet
I have an Editors Choice Award from poetry.com and International Library of Poetry
Internship at the European Union General Secretary in Turkey.
Play guitar, and I wouldn’t mind sending them a tape of me playing some Vivaldi if that’ll help ;)
Possibly creating a website were Ill sell stuff cuz I want the money + I have fun with that kinda stuff, and I here that universities like that.
Jazz band 10-12th grades
TIMUN (Turkish International MUN)
MUNDP (MUN development Program)
My extremely low GPA is what Im afraid of: I cant remember exactly, but here is how i remember it:
9th: 2.6
10th: 2.75
11: 3.15
12: dunno
School doesn’t rank. I'm planning on majoring in business, and my recs will be written by my Economics teacher and probably math teacher, who I get along great with and I have high grades for their classes. Furthermore, my essays should be pretty good.
Please tell me if I have a shot for Stern.

GPA will prolly hurt you. im not sure if ure an international or not, if you are then u might want to send a note about GPA conversion. I did some of my highschool abroad and i was told to send a note to explain the grading system. a direct conversion woulda gave me a 3.3 or something around there. but i i was ranked 9/126 at the second most competitive school in the country.
