My application is "submitted" and "received". Will I find out via snail mail they have my recs and school report?

My daughter found out they didn't receive her recs and school report by snail mail. Otherwise, I believe she would have received nothing. Took nine weeks total to get an answer, but she applied in early October. I believe the school says it takes around 12 weeks for an answer, now.

If you applied online, they send e-mail confirmation for both your application AND all your materials.

I just got an e-mail today that my application is currently being processed. It didn't specifically state ALL my materials were received, but I'm assuming that is what they mean?

I submitted my app today..(a "little" late) so by when can I expect an admission's decision?..also for academic interest I wrote down 3 majors...is that bad? I mean....can I still register for any particular class I went, even though I wrote down a specific major under academic interest? I wrote down Communication Studies/Pre-Law/ I cant remember if it was Political Science or something else...

i heard it takes about 12 weeks for an answer. i applied october 22 and havent heard yet.

The waiting game is getting old. I had hoped that the rolling admissions at Michigan would give everyone a decision earlier than what seems to be happening.

i applied oct 25 and got my acceptance on nov 29, but the longer you waited, the longer it will take for you to hear

I applied Nov 6th and received notice on Dec 23rd.

Jenlikewhoa, are you an international student? If you applied october 22 and have not yet received notice, there is something wrong. Did you try calling them?

nope. im from good ole illinois. i mean they did send me a little email saying they were reviewing my application on like nov 6. but cmon now adcoms i dont have a real good shot its mean to keep me waiting.

i applied around the same time as you, but i recieved notice in late november
i suggest you call and ask them when you should expect a decision. when i did this in late november, they told me my decision was in the mail and i should recieve it in a few days - possibly there is a problem with the mail too
