What is greek life like at WUSTL? I've heard it's pretty large...

Does it dominate the social life? How many people are involved? Are all the parties on campus greek parties? Is there a diversity of students, i.e. plenty of hippie folk there as well? Or are most people on campus preppy?

Thanks A LOT. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In response to the greek life question, Greek life is large, but it's not one of those places that if you're not in a sorority/frat you'll feel left out. I think a lot of people go to frat parties on the weekends though, I went to one last year and I thought most people there seemed on the preppy side. Walking around campus, I didn't see too many hippie-type people, but not that many people get real dressed up or anything- it's a pretty good variation of style. I hope that helps you a little...
